Since the very beginning of test language computerisation (specially ATLAS), EADS TEST & SERVICES has developed and marketed all necessary test software environments to the operation of test systems and the production of Test Programme Sets (TPS).

In particular in 1988, EADS TEST & SERVICES designed, on request from ARINC (Aeronautical Radio INC.), the first ‘standard’ software environment for TPS development and execution in ATLAS programming language: SMART (Standard Modular Avionics Repair and Test software).
