The various sections of Germany’s armed forces, consisting of the Army, Air Force and Navy, along with the military divisions of “Central Medical Services” and the “Joint Support Service”, will be showing how modern armies are deployed, using the slogan “ILA2008 - Meet with the Bundeswehr”. These will include a 20 minute section featuring dynamic displays of the capabilities of the Army and Air Force, showing how effectively they can be deployed on land and in the air. Visitors will be able to inspect the Bundeswehr equipment and aircraft at close quarters. These will include large items of military equipment and examples of all the different types of aircraft in service with the Bundeswehr, such as helicopters, combat, transport and special purpose aircraft, including the Eurofighter, Tiger helicopter, P-3C Orion and MedEvac Airbus.
