The Career Centre at the ILA will be providing a special service for newcomers to the aerospace industry on 30 and 31 May. Whether they are currently still at school or university, at the start of their careers or specialists in their own fields: the Career Centre in Hall 6a offers them all an opportunity to obtain in-depth details about career openings, and to make direct contact with future employers such as Airbus and EADS, Air Berlin and Lufthansa, MTU and Rolls-Royce.
With more than 50 participating companies and institutions, all available space at the Career Centre has already been reserved. The programme will be completed by lectures, company presentations and advice on how to successfully submit job applications. The growth sectors of aviation and space are a powerful factor in the creation of jobs in the fascinating high-tech field and will offer numerous career opportunities for qualified staff over the coming years. Representatives of business and politics, as well as trainees and test pilots will be speaking about the complex and varied kinds of employment available in the aviation and space industries.
A useful tip: a prize draw on the website www.ila-berlin.de/ila2008/careercenter/ is offering a chance to win tickets to attend one of the two Career Centre days.
