Carlos D. Suárez is Head of the Military Transport Aircraft Division (MTAD) and a member of the EADS Executive Committee. Additionally, he is Chairman of EADS CASA and Managing Director of Airbus Military (AMSL).

Carlos D. Suárez, born on 8 January 1964, is Head of the Military Transport Aircraft Division (MTAD) and a member of the EADS Executive Committee. Additionally, he is Chairman of EADS CASA and Managing Director of Airbus Military (AMSL).

Prior to assuming this positions, he served as Head of Military Derivatives Programs of Airbus Platforms within MTAD since January 2003.

From September 2000 until January 2003 he was Head of Commercial A400M Program at EADS MTAD, after rejoining the Group following a period of two years as Vice-president Business Development at Gamesa Aeronáutica (currently Aernnova Aerospace).

Between 1989 and 1998 he occupied different management positions at CASA the Spanish Aerospace Company that was integrated into EADS in Year 2000.

He has also worked as Strategy Consultant in Accenture (former Andersen Consulting) and as a researcher in the Fluid Dynamics Laboratory at Polytechnic University of Madrid.

Carlos D. Suárez holds a Master Degree in Aeronautical Engineering (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid) and a MBA (IESE International Business School). He is married and has four children.
