The vision of EADS is to deliver competitive advantage by winning, integrating and developing the world‘s most competitive suppliers. With this objective the new EADS sourcing strategy is being implemented since the beginning of 2001.
This strategy goes far beyond a traditional procurement policy and redefines the relationships with EADS suppliers. We need a new framework of cooperation between the suppliers and EADS to successfully implement demanding projects such as the A380. For EADS a harmonised sourcing strategy is essential to achieving cost-effectiveness, while still ensuring highest quality and innovation.
Our goal is to work together with our suppliers to jointly benefit our customers and shareholders.
