EADS-SOGERMA opens new repair station in Phoenix

BARFIELD Inc., a fully owned subsidiary of EADS-SOGERMA Maintenance Group, has just opened a new state-of -the-art repair station in Phoenix, Arizona.
The new 9,000 sq. ft. facility, located adjacent to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in Tempe, provides the most sophisticated technology and know-how in components test, repair and overhaul, and represents an opportunity to increase dramatically the customer services level.
With FAA Repair Certificate XB12995K, the facility operates two ATEC Serie 6 which are capable of supporting the latest technology of avionics components. In addition, BARFIELD Phoenix will also offer extensive capability for other types of components such as mechanical or electromechanical components.
BARFIELD Inc., with its headquarters and main facility in Miami, Fl, and another plant in Atlanta, Ga, specializes in components support for commercial airlines.
