The AS 550C3 "FENNEC" is fitted with a TURBOMECA Arriel 2B turbine engine equipped with the FADEC system (Full Authority Digital Engine Control).
It can be equipped with axial weapons; cannon, rocket launchers, machine guns, and anti-tank or air-to-air missiles.
